Funeral services for Mrs. Curley H. Andre’, 78, will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 at Acadian Funeral Home. Interment will be held private at a later date. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
Mrs. Andre’ was a loving mother and grandmother, greatest mother-in-law, step grandmother. And greatest great grandmother. She was 78 years old. Curley was born in Iberia Parish. She worked at Holsum Bakery for 22 years and after retirement she enjoyed fishing, reading, camping, she loved watching the saints football game and she got to see the saints go to the super bowl. She also played pokeno with all her friends.
Mrs. Andre’ was survived by one son Arthur Andre’ Jr., and wife Debra, One sister Ronnie Medver, one grandson Corey Andre’ and wife Angelee of Dulac; two close friends Litta Migues and Jeanette Cassica, two sisters-in-law that was great to her, Francis Roy and Delores Andre’; step grandchildren Corey and Ashley Freyou, C.J. and wife Christina Miguez, Carla and Jeffery Thibodeaux; two great grandchildren Aiden and Aleck Andre’ of Dulac, also five step great grandchildren Logan, Emily Freyou, Caden Miguez, Hali Venable, and Laigha Thibodeaux
She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Andre’ Sr., her parents Walter Hulin Sr., and Cora Badeaux Hulin, one brother Walter Hulin Jr., two sisters Erna Hulin and Ruby Hulin Gautreaux, she will be missed by her daughter-in-law that was with her all the time. Two god children Mark Hulin and Recey Paul Migues.
The family wants to thank Dr. Ditch, Dr. Lewis, Acadian Home Care, Hospice Compassus , a very special nurse Mrs. Lisa who was with her at the time of her death, Counsel on Aging, special delivery person, Soileau’s Pharmacy and staff, Iberia Medical Center , Dr. Friday and all the staff, and Iberia Rehab Hospital on Jefferson Terrace for all their help and kindness
In lieu of flowers , donations can be made to Acadian Funeral Home to help defray funeral expense
