Funeral services for Lena Mae Leleux Gonsoulin, 88, will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 Pm at Acadian Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of services.
Mrs. Gonsoulin was a resident of New Iberia, she was born on February 19, 1921 in Iberia Parish. She passed away on February 10, 2010 at 1:30 AM at New Iberia Manor South Nursing Home.
She is survived by her six children, Norbert Gonsoulin III and wife Betty, Stanley Gonsoulin and wife Verlie, Lester Gonsoulin, Margaret Gonsoulin, Philip Gonsoulin and Desiree Forgason and Cynthia Bourque all of New Iberia; one brother Shelton Leleux and wife Barbara, little Judy Gonsoulin; grandchildren, Norma, Norbert IV, John, Crystal, Rita, James, Stanley Jr., Jessica, Nicole, Kimberly, Stephanie Leblanc, Liz Leblanc, Joy, Lester Jr., Brandy, Clyde, Shelia Stein, Tina Viator, Tiffany Gonsoulin, Raleigh Gonsoulin, Chad Gonsoulin, Brittany Gonsoulin, Boyd Gonsoulin, Jane Duplantis, Vickie Pineda, Boy, Michelle Duplantis, and Tammy Watterson; also a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives
She was preceded in death by her husband Norbert Gonsoulin Jr., parents Ozaire Leleux and Elise Rogers Leleux, one son Steve Gonsoulin, one daughter, Judy Gonsoulin, three brothers Leroy, Preston and Leward Leleux; one sister Lucy Broome, nephew, Robert Shelton Leleux
