Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Touchet Sr., 52, will be held Thursday, February ri", 2010, at Acadian Funeral Home. Service time will be at 2:00 p.m. Internment will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau. Deacon George Sikes will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Mr. Touchet was born on February 14th, 1957 and passed away Tuesday, February 09, 2010 at 9:52 a.m, at his residence. Mr. Touchet had been employed in the oilfield industry prior to his passing.
Mr. Touchet is survived by four children, two sons, Joseph Touchet Jr. and Shane Touchet, both of New Iberia, two daughters, Lilly Touchet of New Iberia, and Natalie Touchet of California, five brothers, Wilson, Willie, Wilton, Keith, and Scotty Touchet,; two daughters, Eunice Benoit, and Brenda Touchet.
Mr. Touchet was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Lawrence and Lillie Mae Dore Touchet, and one brother Douglas Touchet.
Pallbearers will be selected by the family.
Acadian Funeral Home, 802 Weldon Street, New Iberia, 364-6162 is in charge of arrangements.
