Mrs. Buckner was born on November 7, 1949 in New Iberia, LA and she passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at her home in New Iberia, LA
Mrs. Buckner is survived by her children, Christopher J. Berry of Atlanta, GA., Marissa A. Buckner of Denver, CO., Amy L. Buckner of Denver, CO., and Stacy B. Garr of Shreveport, LA Mother Essie Broussard of New Iberia, LA., two sisters, Myra Olivier of Lafayette, LA., and Lynne Broussard of Denver, CO., two brothers, Morris Broussard of San Francisco, CA., and Walter Broussard of Denver, CO., two grandchildren Janae Graham of Denver, CO., and Da’Karion Banks of Denver, CO., and many other family and friends.
Mrs. Buckner loved to travel all around the world and loved her grandchildren dearly. She was an avid gardener. She was very outgoing and enjoyed meeting different people and making new friends. She was an entrepreneur to businesses and a financial consultant.
Mrs. Buckner was preceded in death by her father Walter Broussard and her husband Henry C. Buckner
