Funeral services for Mr. Richard Boehler, 67, will be held privately at a later date. Mr. Boehler passed away Saturday morning, January 23rd, 2010 at New Iberia Manor North after an extended illness.
Mr. Boehler was born in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. He was a retired freight expeditor. Mr. Boehler was a proud U.S. Marine, who spent a good portion of his service stationed in Japan. He enjoyed boating on Lake Erie and had taken up art, mostly sketching in his later years.
His survivors include one son, Charles Boehler of Plano, TX; two sisters, Mrs. Patricia Rao, and her husband Dr. A.K.R. Rao of Ashland, OR. and Mrs. Carolyn Shaw of Oregon City, OR, and two niece’s.
Mr. Boehler was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Charles R. Boeher and his wife, Debbie.
Mr. Boehler’s family would like to thank the staff of Iberia Manor North for the excellent care provided him during his illness.
