A private funeral service will be conducted for Mr. Morris Adolph Porche, 88
Mr. Porche passed away Monday morning, December 28, 2009 at the St. Martin Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in St. Martinville. A former resident of Raceland, Mr. Porche was avid reader and photographer. He was a former member of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was an retired insurance agent.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years. Daisy Orgeron Porche of St. Martinville, five daughters Susan P. Gautreaux, and husband Charles of St. Martinville, Jean Porche of Canada, Joan Porche of Lafayette, Phyllis P. Coleman and husband Pat of New Iberia, Anne Porche and husband Darrel Thibodeaux of Loreauville, four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews
Mr. Porche was prededed in death by his parents Hubert and Maude Lecompte Porche
